In cooperation between the center and the mother:The program aims to help children acquire self-control and independence in using the bathroom in a positive way that takes into account the child's psychological, social, and linguistic aspects, allowing them to feel proud and achieve new accomplishments.Program objectives:- Enhancing the child's independence and ability to rely on himself.- Support positive psychological development by encouraging the child and enhancing his self-confidence.- Developing the social aspect by having the child share his experiences with his friends in a natural way.- Developing the linguistic aspect by using words to express his physical needs.Activation axes within the center and with the mother:First: The psychological aspect:- Prepare the child gradually without pressure or punishment.- Use positive reinforcement (words of encouragement, stickers, motivational stars).- Dealing with setbacks calmly and patiently.- Create a safe and private environment for the child during training.Second: The social aspect:- Indirect group training through stories or activities about: “Adults who use the bathroom.”- Share a song or symbolic activity with friends after success, to reinforce the sense of accomplishment.- Teaching the child bathroom etiquette (asking permission, cleanliness, washing hands, waiting)Third: The linguistic aspect:- Introduce the child to the words associated with the process (bathroom – I want to go to the bathroom – I’m done – I wash my hands)- Use storyboards and flashcards to express his needs.- Encourage him to speak clearly when he needs to go.- A short story every day about a (heroic child) who was able to go to the bathroom.Mother's role:- Daily cooperation with the center in implementing the same scheduled steps at home.- Sending the daily follow-up schedule to the teacher to know the extent of development.- Commitment to a fixed time routine for going to the bathroom.- Use the same positive encouragement method used in the center.Activation methods:- "I'm Grown Up" sign to reinforce positive behavior.- A weekly story or video presentation about personal hygiene.- Practical activity for hand washing and teaching hygiene.Mothers participated in an awareness day entitled: My Child’s Independence Journey.Expected results:- The child feels confident, proud and accomplished.- Reduced stress and anxiety associated with training.- Increase linguistic and social communication skills.- Acquiring a healthy habit that positively reflects on his psychological and social development.Program duration:4 weeks with the possibility of extension depending on the child’s results and development.
